(Doug Hunt presenting at HK Green Tech Conference)
ClearVue was selected as a finalist at the HK Green Challenge competition in October 2024, from over 6,000 participants. This cascaded to a series of new business meetings and project quotes.
ClearVue’s case study about net zero energy buildings was presented at the industry roundtable conference, and included in the “Hong Kong's Path to Carbon Neutrality: Guide to Navigate the Green Tech Market” report published by Invest Hong Kong and Deloitte China, providing a valuable resource for achieving net zero targets in the region.
Product updates
We made great progress in the past year achieving critical certifications for our products.
ClearVue saw great success incorporating our technology to power third party products, when transparency and energy generation are required. Examples of such products include switchable glass (in collaboration with eLstar and NODIS), signage (incorporating Lusoco inks), vacuum solar glass (currently tested at EMSD in Hong Kong), solar heated glass (exclusive to My Glass Projects).
Recently, we expanded our relationships with Alutec and Aria Holdings to include distribution agreement in the UAE, signed an OEM manufacturing agreement with Maxblue Industial Glass in China, and Manufacturing and Distribution Licence Agreement with My Glass Projects in the United Kingdom.
We are working to onboard 20+ licensees in 2025.
The licensee footprint allows ClearVue to service multiple markets and deliver our technology to more customers.

Trade shows success
ClearVue is actively promoting our products to the market, and we attended a few massive trade shows in late 2024 and early 2025. This includes Greenbuild in Philadelphia, where we acquired over 800 industry contacts; Green Building Council Expo and Exhibition in Cape Town, carried by our partner Concept Business Solutions, and BAU in Munich in partnership with Alutec - the largest global architecture and construction show.
We connected with industry professionals, discussed potential projects, and received very positive feedback from attendees. We actively work on converting these valuable contacts into sales.
ClearVue acquired the IP and assets of ROOTS Sustainable Agricultural Technologies, an Israeli-based protected cropping agriculture technology supplier. Their Root Zone Temperature Optimization (RTZO) system results in improved crop yield and quality, and will complement ClearVue’s solar greenhouse solutions, creating complete, integrated AgTech offerings.
The AgTech team hit the ground running and delivered their first project they took over from ROOTS for a UAE-based food production company in December 2024.
We secured a few projects since October 2024 - Systems USA solar greenhouses, a solar facade at the iconic Enex100 building in Perth, and net-zero modular home components for a pilot with Prefabulous.
Our Operations team is working on delivering these projects and will share updates by March.
We partnered with Qatar University and Murdoch University to develop energy-efficient, solar-integrated greenhouses to address food security challenges in arid climates. The research, addressing critical challenges of food security in dry regions like Qatar, is supported by a $500,000 grant from the Qatar National Research Fund.
Showrooms upgrade in San Jose and Perth
We are upgrading our showrooms in Perth, Australia, and San Jose, California, to showcase current product capabilities.
Architects will soon be able to see in real life, touch and feel the full range of ClearVue BIPV products including solar vision glass, solar balustrade/railing glass, spandrel and cladding samples.
Stay tuned for more information and visuals, or please reach out to us to arrange a private meeting and demonstration.

- The 2024 grow season at Murdoch Research Solar Greenhouse has wrapped up in January 2025, with full data on growth and yield to become available later in 2025. Combined results showed material yield increase in ClearVue solar glass fitted rooms for a range of crop species.
- A new publication in high impact peer reviewed journal Cleaner engineering and technology summarizes the results of 2021-2022 grow season and explores the potential of solar greenhouses fitted with ClearVue windows to improve yield and provide water and energy savings.
- Another article, “Statistical methods for assessment of energy harvesting performance in unconventional photovoltaics” by Mikhail Vasiliev et al., submitted to high impact peer-reviewed journal Solar Energy, is reporting long-term case study of a unique agrivoltaics greenhouse.
ClearVue US expanded production and sales capabilities with appointment of sales agents, operations, electrical and BIPV engineers and support staff.
Paul Ogburn, Director of Operations (North America), will visit in February for training with the Australian team and a tour of solar glass production facilities.
ClearVue exhibited its full line of solar façade solutions during the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, and is launching a new showroom in San Jose, repurposing exhibition stands as demonstration units.
